63. Report - Aatma schuddi karan - soul purification
"Where are you from?" - that's the most common question I'm asked on the side of the road or at tea stands. Sometimes this question annoys me because it is only aimed at the superficial outside. Sometimes I even get offended when people just take a picture with me, check on their mobile phone if the photo is good and then move on and just leave me standing. But since it's my own superficial Ego that feels offended, it's fitting - my deeper Self can't really complain about this behaviour of others.
My Ego feels happy when people ask something related to the pilgrimage. Good questions are an expression of wisdom. For example:
"What is the purpose of your trip?". In the beginning, the answer was
always "Inner Purification." Someone explained that in India they say
"Aatma schuddi karan". "Atma schuddi karen", this term is
obviously a key word: as soon as an Indian hears "Atma schuddi karan"
when asked about the pilgrimage motif, something opens up in his depths. His
face shows respect and understanding.
Since
there are different techniques for soul purification, I mention VIPASSANA:
Buddha's teachings on the untying of inner knots. As long as we are not clean
inside but blocked with knots, other inner desires cannot be fulfilled in a
healthy way. But if we clean up inside ourselves, many wonderful, healing things happen by themselves - according to the level of cleansing.
I
am currently experiencing unexpected good things in myself more and more often
- different than expected, but they feel true and right. Something good seems
to guide us from within.
At
the same time, I can now catch myself more quickly in the frequent, useless
"thinking around" and perceive the current thoughts and feelings as a
reaction in the body. As soon as I ‘catch’ and accept them with the inner eye,
they dissolve.
...
Unexpectedly beautiful things are happening more and more often. Outside and
inside.
