10. Report - Wedding at the Sarguru Temple

There is a wedding in thetemple. Both are divorced. But they have known each other since they were young and now there is (hopefully) a happy ending. An organizer encourages me to come to the ceremony to offer a blessing for the couple

 It's a small company. The priest introduces the ceremonies. Then I step in front of the couple and tie their hands together with the vesti, bless them and say a few words I don't remember.

It hurts inside to walk away from the Bodhi Zendo. The 6 months of Zen practice have helped me advance internally. There is some risk in leaving the regular daily business of meditation. I dare to compare it with a child in the womb: Why leave this wonderful, warm, filling, sheltered place after nine months to risk an unknown existence ?! It is also an inconvenient time to leave because of the rainy season. I postpone my departure twice because the laundry won't dry on the line. And enriching conversations with other meditators arise every day. But now the next step has to take place. A Sesshin begins on Thursday evening for three days. I no longer take part in the meetings, try to be inconspicuous and feel "wrong" in my place. On Friday morning there were still two damp clothes hanging on the line. 19. Report - 25/11/21 - Simply happy & Babu's family

Babu's IT-Trainingcenter The nice family, with whom I was allowed to stay overnight in an office garage, brings a small breakfast. The farewell is short and nice. A little later, I don't know why, I feel happy for no reason. Nothing special happened. Suddenly it's just there. Either there are many good people who are praying or sending their good energy - or the gods are in a good mood today - or something has changed in me without knowing what. IT trainees In the afternoon, the quiet route meets National Highway 83. Soon after, Udumalaipettai appears; here I am looking for a PC working place to update the blog. There should be an internet café behind the central bus station. The man behind the counter is nice, but his usage fees are very high. Outside on the wall of the housefront, I look at the advertising signs of other shops. There is a PC training center two buildings down the street. 28. Report - 2 - 7/12/21 - First days in Kerala - HERE & NOW

The landscape of Kerala is very beautiful. I walk on picturesque streets. Many wind their way through small palm forests and through beautifully landscaped rice fields. Diverse views are offered to the eye. The monsoon is coming to an end - it hardly rains any more. At a great rock lake, I risk spending a night without a canopy. After a few hours it promptly begins to rain. The bags are protected under the large umbrella; I wrap myself and the mats in a large plastic sheet. The next morning the sun is shining. Occasionally men come to the lake, jump into the water, soap themselves on the bank, jump back into the water. There are many ponds here. Every day you see people washing clothes or soaping themselves up there. I also refresh then myself for a few minutes. It rains again briefly in one night - again I have to take refuge under a temple roof with my things. The remaining nights stay dry. It is now easier to find somewhere to sleep.
