30. Report - 20/12/21 - 2/1/22 - Chistmas and meditation week in the Bodhi Zendo
A month and a half on this pilgrimage. Christmas is around the
corner. I decide and am happy to be able to spend the feast in the Bodhi Zendo.
Before starting the pilgrimage, I had already lived 7 months in this meditation
center for Zen Buddhism, which is run by wonderful Jesuits.
When I arrive in the late evening, romantic tears come into my
eyes: Prakash and Praneeth have set up decorated Christmas trees at the
entrance. And a crib. In the middle is something small that extends its hands
in our direction: I want to work hard on it to realize the divine human in
me too.
The subsequent meditation week, a Sesshin, offers all the comforts of
well-organized, quiet, intensive meditation days. Zazen: sitting, sitting,
sitting ... stop thinking, which takes a lot of time and practice. Then to
experience the blissful fullness of inner emptiness. Sometime.
On the last day the founder, Father Amasamy, bids farewell to the
Bodhi Zendo. Many people, including those from Europe, have traveled a long way
to follow his teaching and technic. At the age of 85 he is ready to found a new
meditation center.
My meditation center now is the street again, trusting walking in uncertainty. And get closer to the present moment.
The pilgrimage continues.

All the best whishes for your inner and outer journey!!!
